Overall Satisfaction with AVI-SPL

AVI-SPL completed the installation and commissioning for the visual and audio equipment in our school auditorium and supplementary facilities.

Pros

  • When a service contract is in place, their technicians are knowledgeable and efficient.

Cons

  • The equipment proposed and selected is complicated. Each technician resets the system based on their preferences and tends to diminish the quality of the previous technicians' work and organization.
  • There have been several appointments that needed to be rescheduled by AVI-SPL.
  • Their sales/install team is slow to respond to requests for information and proposals.
  • We just entered another service contract because we could not get them to respond otherwise. So, we are seeing some benefits, but it is slow to build.
With a very expensive service contract in place, the support has been better but it is still not great.
Since we are a school, hybrid and remote options are not available.

The system is wonderful with key features. Their service technicians are highly knowledgeable and work well with our end-users to explain what happened to the system and how it can be fixed. However, the process to get them on-site is cumbersome and slow.
