Overall Satisfaction with AVI-SPL

AVI-SPL was chosen as our contractor for AV solutions throughout our EOC and Public Safety Answering Point. They manage a suite of 4 projectors in three different rooms, several large TVs in different conference and breakout rooms, and multiple different connections points which feed the system. They've handled installation of all equipment, and regular maintenance.

Pros

  • Strong Communication
  • Flexible scheduling for installations
  • Installers and maintenance techs are efficient, yet detail oriented

Cons

  • Maintenance tech often needs to inspect, then order parts, then come back for install. Would be nice if this process were more efficient.
  • ROI has been great. AV solutions outlasted usual lifespan due to excellent maintenance.
  • Installation of AVI-SPL technology has leveled up our training room and EOC environments.
The global help desk responds quickly, escalate tickets quickly, and provide appropriate follow up. They seem to have a good understanding of individual accounts and set ups which improves efficiency in the entire process. Maintenance techs are generally scheduled to come on site within a few days of a ticket being opened. No complaints.

AVI-SPL handled the install for our initial capital project. They worked quickly, were detail oriented, and completed the work to our expectations. Their scheduling was flexible and based on our needs as a busy 911 center. We have a yearly maintenance contract and have been satisfied with those work efforts as well, recently renewing. Our main projector was recently replaced as it was end of life. AVI-SPL's sales process was simple and communication was great.
