Overall Satisfaction with Basecamp
We use Basecamp to communicate with a range of subcontractor and to manage workflow both internally and externally. Basecamp was key to our successful growth from revenues of under $500k per year to over $12.5M in a little more than 4 years. With that kind of explosive growth, it's very easy to lose track of how projects are progressing. If this happens clients aren't happy we all know what happens next, they leave.

- We had some minor issues with outside vendor employees not understanding how to use the system
- Some outside vendors were slow to adopt but that's not really a Basecamp issue, it's more of a bandwidth issue and willingness to try something new on their part.

We tested other products (cannot remember their names) but went with Basecamp because of integration, flexibility, ease of use and ability to manage many different vendors and departments both internal and external.
