Overall Satisfaction with Bitly

Bitly shortened links are being used on our product labels. It allows customers to view product information related to their purchase.
  • Ease of Use
  • Unethical Company. They are holding an issue of ours hostage to get us to upgrade to enterprise level.
  • Horrible Customer Service - They do not care about their customers. No help was given to solve our problems.
  • Very Expensive - Compared to other solutions you are paying much more for Bitly. Also they only offer a complete solution at the highest paid tiers. We had an issue where we need to redirect a link and they would not allow us unless we upgraded to Enterprise level (Over $15,000 USD a year...)
  • Bad features - They've taken basic level features and hid them from standard paid tiers, forcing you to upgrade to fix your problems.
  • Bitly has had a major negative financial impact on our business due to them not allowing us to redirect our link. Our product labels have broken links on them, which is affecting sales.
  • Bitly has had a negative impact on our customer satisfaction.
  • Bitly has wasted our time and efforts and has not been straightforward with their features.
If you're looking for a good link shortner where the team will help you with issues that come up, then stay away from Bitly. Unless you're willing to pay a massive amount for enterprise level then it's not worth it. Also I don't know why anyone would pay the enterprise level fees that they've set.
