Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud eTapestry
We use Blackbaud eTapestry CRM to track all fund development interactions in a charitable organization. This includes financial journal entries and related communications for all donations, pledges, sponsorships, planned gifts, and grants. We also use Blackbaud eTapestry to link our website donation, volunteer and event forms to the database. We use the query feature to search for information, manage event guest lists, create reports, and create mass emails or letters and receipts. We can track grant status as well. It has been less useful for moves management of prospects than we would like. Outlook integration is useful.

- Would like a better way to track cultivation visits, tours, and stewardship. Hard to customize event tracking lists
- Should declutter journal by keeping financial and contact details separate
- User defined fields are great, but should have the ability to permanently delete unused fields
- Complex compound queries are not always supported by the system

Blackbaud eTapestry is a fully cloud based system, unlike Sumac, which means it can handle continuous multi-users in real time while remaining synchronous. Everything can be stored within the system, including documents that one needs such as granting or gift agreements. Easier to customize than DonorPerfect and better with Outlook.
