Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud eTapestry

I use Blackbaud eTapestry for Customer Relationship Management and gift reporting primarily. I also use to log volunteer hours. It helps us log contacts and create next moves with donors and other stakeholders. It allows program managers to report their activity in a common place that is easy to access for all.
  • Journal contacts
  • Reporting monthly giving and contact activity
  • Receiving credit card gifts
  • DIY forms are difficult to understand and create
  • Reloading the page takes you out of the account you're working in
  • I can now manage all contacts and create next moves
  • Giving Tuesday will be easier to create and track
  • Getting program managers out of excel
Some of the queries and reports are not as intuitive as I would like to see them. DIY forms also require a higher level of knowledge.

It is a good beginner solution - with the basic functions easy to find and use. For larger more complex organizations a more robust system may be needed.
