Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use BlackLine account reconciliations across at least our NA accounting operations, and it helps us reduce costs in auditing, keeps us in compliance, and supports all of our GL account balances in one place for visibility. This process also helps in preparation for our other processes by giving it financial integrity.

I believe we receive good support, but that is not my area of expertise, so my experience is limited.

Likelihood to Recommend

It seems to me that it is well suited for any company that earns $250M or above, and definitely public companies, because it helps with compliance, account matching, automatic journal entries, and even some of the modern ERPs don't do all this. They have teamed up with one of the leaders in ERP systems, SAP, to fill some important gaps in a more cost effective way. Their modules are becoming more robust, and they are definitely worth looking into to help automate your accounting processes to a new level.
