Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine
Our main usage of Blackline consists of organizing our tasks and reconciliations. This helps us to delineate the responsibilities of each team member, and ensure that all necessary work is completed every month. Along with this, Blackline assists us in tracking and correcting any possible issues that arise during these processes. Along with this, Blackline helps us to automate and improve upon already existing processes. the customer service department is friendly and helps to create solutions that are specific to your company.
- The platform is simple and easy to use.
- Customer service is great at suggesting potential improvements to current processes.
- Great for organizing tasks/reconciliations.
- Improve the customization of auto-certification timing.
- It would be great to have a screen where a preparer and approver can see their workload without having to switch between roles.
- Cases should be accessible to more users automatically, not just system admins.
- Helps to organize responsibilities between many team members.
- Helps to find, track, and resolve errors.

I have not used any products similar to Blackline. However, Excel does offer many similar functionalities to Blackline in terms of reconciling accounts. Blackline offers many benefits over simply using Excel. The reconciliations are organized and easy to find, and they roll over each month on their own. They include the ability to auto-certify if they meet the criteria that your team selects. They also include an audit trail of documentation and approval for each step.

Blackline is an excellent tool for two scenarios: 1. If you are looking for a program that will help your team to organize work, this is it. Blackline offers an easy-to-use platform where every team member is able to organize their work. In particular, this includes monthly tasks and reconciliations. 2. Blackline is great for process improvement. It can help to automate manual processes that are taking up too much time. The customer service team is great at finding solutions that work for your company.
