Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine

We are currently in the process of implementation to help streamline our manual processes and to speed up the month end close. We are also looking to better align our task based challenges across all finance sub teams to better allow for visibility into TMs time management. Though we are now a year into the purchase, the BlackLine team is attempting to better set us up for success by providing a thorough setup that identifies where our pain points are and help to correct.

I think the support we have been given has been exemplary, we did have some hiccups with scheduling on both sides that has delayed our build out however I do have confidence in what has and it being built to ensure that we have a solid foundation when we are ready to go live.
Unfortunately, we are in a unique area in that while we have had the software for a year, we have not fully reached a point where we have actual use of it. While this conference and been amazing and insightful, for me it has still been more abstract in that it feels as if I am evaluating a prospective tool rather than learning best practice for a tool we already have.
We selected BlackLine because of the all in package that they quoted us versus having to build a comprehensive package that others were quoting us. The team also likes the number of banks that could be integrated with BlackLine.

We have experienced some challenges with the implementation due to the complexity of our existing processes and when couple with delays on our side and well as the training side, we did not recognize soon enough that we could have moved to add concurrent training for other aspect of the software that we had purchased as we spent a long time (understandably) on the most complex of our process, so while there is ownership on both side, we lost a year where we could have obtained engagement on other teams
