Overall Satisfaction with BlackLine

Currently we use the Reconciliation model and we NEED to implement Manual JE and matching.

Pros

  • Reconciliation
  • Tool feels like it is made by Accountants, not IT
  • Simple to manage and maintain

Cons

  • Only implemented Reconciliation. No issues with that model.
  • increase productivity
  • Tighter controls
When our Admins had issues w/ BL, BL support was always quick to respond and provide updates.
We have not used a Partner to implement BL.

We created "Teams" within BL Rec model. It makes it easy for Teams to own the rec vs. assigning to a person.
