Overall Satisfaction with Bloomfire

Bloomfire is our knowledge aggregation platform. We upload useful reports and presentations to the platform. We have also ensured access to the entire organization. Bloomfire has helped us to resolve the following issues :

1. Create one-stop solution to discover organizations reports to be easily found.
2. Encourage employees to stop hoarding redundant reports and knowledge on their laptops.
3. Encourage employees to actively shared knowledge and be recognized for it.
4. Free up disk space.
  • The search bar is extremely versatile and allows you to be precise with your searches. We use Booleans to quickly discover the information or reports we are looking for.
  • The UI is fresh, modern and intuitive. Most employees took only a few minutes to figure it out.
  • The support team is fantastic. They are always quick to respond and eager to resolve any questions even if these have already been answered on their Bloomfire Community.
  • Results for a search are not actively summarized. this leaves the users to scan through multiple documents to create their own understanding which is time-consuming.
  • The 'ask a question' is one of the highlights of the platform but it takes 2 clicks to get to and is easy to miss in the UI.
  • The document viewer could be bigger . while you can certainly zoom, the viewer itself occupies a small part of the total screen real estate.
  • Positive impact - increased inclination for research.
  • Positive impact - quasi community of contributors.
  • Positive impact - easy discovery of important documents.
  • No negative impact.
Market Logic is a superior product but prohibitively expensive for us. We couldn't justify the spends given that this is essentially a cost centre.
Support has been first rate. The team communicates very clearly and is always quick to respond. They are a patient lot as they guide you through the answers and will proactively highlight a better way to achieve a desired result. Also, Bloomfire community itself is very helpful where users from other organizations ask their questions which we can refer to for instant solutions.
The UI is modern, intuitive and easy to use. The search functionality is powerful, fast and can precisely narrow results to the most relevant ones. It also displays other relevant, related documents that one might not even have thought of referring to and helps to improve the quality of research.

The Bloomfire platform is well suited for commonly referred documents such as brand templates, press releases, department SOPs and the like. It is especially useful when working across large teams and across different office locations since it easily becomes the go-to resource to discover. Managing confidential documents can be a little tricky since access has to be closely monitored across groups and communities.
