Overall Satisfaction with Box

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our entire organization uses Box to manage our documents and multimedia for hundreds of current projects. We store client agreements, internal documents, project assets, presentations and more. It allows us to assign appropriate access levels and quickly find and open docs for review and editing. With the integration with our SSO, we use the passthrough login feature along with our other apps.

It maintains a large number of files and makes then easy to find and organize
It allows us to collaborate on editing a doc and maintain a single version with the latest changes
It provides previews of most files so we can quickly check the content without having to download

It could have a simpler interface with fewer clicks to accomplish a task
It could offer live editing without having to download the doc

It has allowed us to maintain our docs with minimal time.
It has allowed us to maintain all project files in a single location.

It is well suited to managing the documentation requirements for a small to large organization that need to maintain files of all types. It is great at version management so that only the latest version is available. It would not be appropriate for minimal documentation at a small or tiny company where access levels, editing and version management is not required.
