Box is used when working with creative agencies to review, collaborate, and store large file sizes securely.

Pros

  • Handles large uploads well.
  • Safe and secure storage.
  • Syncs files over a desktop with ease.

Cons

  • Fewer clicks to get from login to share.
  • More 3rd party implementation.
  • More feature-rich free version.
  • Increases turn around time for collaborating on projects.
  • Backs up larger creative files easily and quickly.
  • Integrated with most system frameworks easily.
Although not as well known as Dropbox, Box definitely holds its own and is much more effective if you're looking for one solution for working with outside agencies.
It has its quirks, but does its job well for what we need it for, and that's increased workflow and secure cloud storage.
