Overall Satisfaction with BrowserStack

I use it to emulate different browsers for my work, I develop apps for the web, and It is very useful. For example, I can know when an app works on one operating system or another and locate problems between multiple different systems. My website was having a lot of compatibility problems before getting BrowserStack and it has helped me since.

Pros

  • Emulation of different browsers on different systems.
  • Not much lag when just using browser.
  • Quality of service.

Cons

  • More app support.
  • Better image quality on videos played through the browserstack browser.
  • File transfer support to the guest os and back.
  • Emulation of different operating systems.
  • Development of cross platform applications.
  • Ease of access to many different web browsers.
  • Better compatibility between operating systems.
  • Decreased production time.
  • Less costs to run OS rigs.
There is a considerable amount of lag when you do more processor-intensive tasks like watching videos or running programs on the system, the image of the system also comes out poor sometimes, but that's probably a side effect of running a cloud computer system. Otherwise, it's fast enough for my use case.
Browserstack has allowed me to push my website to production about 25% faster than before. Before BrowserStack, I had to get people on different operating systems to log onto my page and then tell me if anything was wrong with the page, which then meant I had to wait for the person and do it over again.
I, unfortunately, cannot answer this question as I have only used BrowserStack.

Do you think BrowserStack delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with BrowserStack's feature set?

Yes

Did BrowserStack live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of BrowserStack go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy BrowserStack again?

Yes

Browserstack is useful for a developer who develops multi-platform programs and does not have test rigs for operating systems like windows, mac os, and Linux. It is not appropriate for testing high-intensity applications like testing video games or cloud streaming services from the web browser. Otherwise, it is very useful.
