Overall Satisfaction with Canto
Canto is used across the organization, but some departments are more engaged than others. Canto allows us to streamline photo-sharing, and engage employees across the university in the Creative process. We can categorize, sort, and organize photos intuitively, so that the barrier to access is very low to new users.
- Canto allows for specific tags of photos, keeping assets highly organized
- Canto allows me to directly upload or import photos from other platforms, preserving crucial metadata
- Canto have Workspaces and Portals tools, allowing different levels of collaboration
- The tagging feature sometimes has issues, and can't recognize that a photo has the same tag if one has a capital letter and the other is lowercase
- Changing the metadata of lots of photos at once can be difficult and slow
- Not all user levels can delete photo albums, even if they created them
- High quality photos increase engagement on the website and social media
- Sharing across departments allows for higher quality content and integration of digital media strategies
- Long-term photo storage has streamlined the process and provides faster, easier access to older photo shoots
