Celonis is smart and powerful but as any tool needs to be relevant for the business with the right support and buy in on the ground.

We use Celonis for process mining on core SAP transactional processes e.g. O2C, AR, AP. We use it to evaluate opportunities and understand what needs changing to realize the value. We use the Celonis action engine to help realize value when appropriate.

I think Celonis helps the organization look at transactional business processes and data in a different way from what we have been used to. It helps make data-driven decisions and have data-driven conversations which are important when looking at cross-functional impacts of a process.
