Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
Ceridian Dayforce is used by our entire organization. We use it for payroll processing, employee benefits enrollment and management, recruiting, workforce management (timesheets), reporting, and more.
- The recruiting module is well done overall. Not quite as flexible as a dedicated product (like iCIMS) but still a solid solution for the job requisition/candidate management process from end to end.
- The reporting capabilities are great, particularly if you are familiar with basic T-SQL concepts and relational database management systems.
- The workforce management module is also quite fully featured. It is very flexible and can be configured to meet complex organizational needs regarding timesheets and the tracking of employee worked hours.
- Customer support - Their support experience is hit or miss. Often times it seems like the support representatives do not fully understand the product.
- Core modules such as payroll and benefits - These modules are adequate, but there is a lot of room for improvement, especially as they transition to the new 'HTML' user screens.
- Doing a better job of testing new modules before going to market and also completely developing modules and features before selling them to clients, instead of releasing them in an incomplete state and adding important features later.
- Increased HR operational efficiency with flexible reporting features and centralized personnel management.
- Increased recruiter efficiency due to expanded ATS features such as offer letter creation and acceptance built into the module.
Flexible reporting allows providing data for auditors quite easily for the most part. A fully-fledged workforce management module allows us to comply with local wage laws even in other countries like Israel. The system does a good job of making sure we are in compliance based on how the system is configured.
The one employee record approach has streamlined decision making and record management across our entire HR/recruiting team. It has been a positive experience, although there are still a few shortcomings in Dayforce which can sometimes make it feel like you are not working with one unified system.
Increased HR operational efficiency. A simplified experience for managers and employees as well, since they can learn one system and get used to it for several different purposes.
