Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

We have 4 affiliated companies within our production site. Each business has completely separate operations, pay practices, shift rotations and implementation dates. We use Dayforce HCM for payroll processing, onboarding and Time & Attendance. Ceridian Dayforce provides us with the flexibility required by ea. company.

The Mexichem Companies were operating completely separate for many years. When we transitioned to Dayforce Payroll, we are now sharing best practices and helping each other. While separate, we are now operating as a team! Our learning curve has been steep because of our separate implementations in Time & Attendance.

Our Tax configuration allows us to withhold accurately. The program is more intuitive than I am! Dayforce knows when employee withholding is applicable based on the employee's address. It also is updated behind the scenes with tax law changes. I am comfortable with the fact that I am paying employees correctly with Ceredian Tax support and program compliance.
I make decisions A LOT faster thanks to Ceridian Dayforce. Depending on what I need, I can generate a report or go to the employee profile or schedule. Knowing how and where to find the information is my limitation. I cannot learn fast enough.
The true value in a single solution versus add on applications lies in compatibility and ease of use. Add on's are configured differently and may not "think" like the paired program. The user must understand the similarities and differences knowing where the data originates and lands.
This is not a problem if the user is present for the implementation. But, becoming a user post-implementation is a true learning experience.
Before recommending Dayforce, I would have to gauge the technical proficiency of my peer.

Dayforce is highly configurable providing there is capital available to implement or make changes.Dayforce has training resources available to learn but I still have to consult support to configure correctly. Users must be knowledgeable.
