We use ezLaborManager for one of our smaller organizations in a different country.
  • Timeclocks work well, no issues
  • Once set up correctly, the program works great and is consistent
  • Easy to use and train others to use
  • I wish I would have been shown more of it's features in the initial set up.
  • It would be helpful to have an easier file import/export process between time keeping and payroll systems
Great for general time keeping for employees in a smaller company.

It is being used by our department and by our employees in a specific region outside the U.S. We use it as a time keeping and employee information store house. The system keeps track of employees' time worked as well as the employees' time off requests. It helps us keep track of employees' worked hours and efficiency.
  • Keeps track of employee manager and info.
  • Is a good time keeping system.
  • Manages employees' time-off accruals.
  • Their reporting system is a little outdated.
  • The service team needs work on their timely responses.
  • The system has limitations on employee setup.
It works well with keeping time card data, time off requests, and even some employee personal information. However, it does lack in its reporting and does not allow you to customize reports to fit your needs. It does a good job of processing accruals accordingly. The [downfall] is its customer service.

We use ADP exLaborManager throughout our US company. We have hourly employees and salary employees so this helps us keep everything straight and streamline the time tracking of clocking in and out, PTO requests and overtime
  • Ease of use - computer and phone access
  • Organized one stop shop for all things time tracking for payroll
  • Tons of reports are available for access
  • Customer service is very helpful when issues arrive
  • Looks old and clunky but looks are not everything
  • The admin side is sometimes not easy and requires some training
ADP ezLaborManager is a great resource for all things time tracking/employee tracking with payroll. Keep everything in one spot. If you are using ADP this is a no brainer to add on to your product.

It is used across the whole company. We have many locations and use ADP at all locations to track time for payroll.
  • Ease of use: employees can clock in and out on the tablets that are at that location site. They can use the same punch information to log into ADP and look up and edit personal information on their own. Like changing address, phone, and open enrollments.
  • Various methods of clocking. Tablets, computer, biometric clocks, and hand clocks.
  • Piece work employees: entering in piece work counts and pay in the time sheets.
  • Reports for piece work employees. Currently, it is on the supplemental tab. There is no standard report to run a report on the data entered in the supplemental tab of the timecard. Be nice to have standard reports to know how many pieces they were being paid for and the rates.
Clocking in/out is easy on the multiple time punch options. Cleaning up punches is also easy when they need to be fixed due to power outages or internet outages. It also helps with approving time off requests by showing on a calendar anyone in that manager's team who might already have the day scheduled off.

ADP ezLaborManager is being used to track time across the whole organization. It's easy for our employees to clock in and out on a browser or on a mobile device. This software allows you to easily keep track of your employees' schedules, and you are easily able to pull reports. It is easy to navigate and easy to manage as an administrator.
  • The reporting capabilities are great for time and attendance. You can create custom reports or always reach out to customer service for assistance.
  • As a manager, it's easy to view your team's timecard and make adjustments if needed.
  • Entering time off and clocking in and out for employees is simple and requires minimal training.
  • The interface looks outdated.
  • We have run into situations where ADP ezLaborManager is down and our employees cannot clock in and out during that time.
ADP ezLaborManager is well suited for a company that is looking for a simple system to easily track employees' schedules. You can track clock in and clock outs, and pull reports based on what you are looking for. It's user-friendly and requires minimal training to understand the system.

ADP ezLaborManager is the time tracking system our employees use on a daily basis to punch in and out, and to request time off. We moved to ezLaborManager to get away from physical time clocks and the errors that came with them. We have the system setup to allow managers to approve employee time off and to monitor employee hours.
  • The interface of ADP ezLaborManager is simple to use, training only takes a couple of minutes for employees and a couple more for managers.
  • Time off requests are simple to add to the system, review, and approve or deny. There is a space for comments so that managers and employees can communicate directly on the time off request.
  • The employee and supervisor approval process confirms that the employees and managers agree on hours work to satisfy in errors in time before processing payroll.
  • Importing ADP ezLaborManager to RUN Powered by ADP only takes a couple minutes allowing you to get started on processing your payroll in a fraction of the time compared to manual time cards.
  • Trying to research previous time cards past a month are hard to achieve. There is a custom date range option but it rarely works, the program just sits there and doesn't pull up the custom range.
  • Pulling reports for various needs is also more difficult then it needs to be. Instead of pulling a quick report with the dates and parameters you need you have to go in and edit the report and then go back in and edit it again to return it to default settings.
  • You also have to watch your invoices and make sure you are receiving your discounts otherwise this software can be quite costly.
  • Make sure your employees bookmark the ADP ezLaborManager website, otherwise it gets difficult to find through an internet search.
ADP ezLaborManager is a good software to compliment RUN Powered by ADP. I am not sure how well it would work with other payroll processing programs. As long as you teach your employees and managers to use the functions with in the system and monitor your discounts you shouldn't be disappointed.

We use ADP ezLaborManager to simplify HR related tasks. Because we are a small firm, we don't have a dedicated HR dept. As such, this tool is perfect for running reports and keeping track of payroll related information quickly and efficiently. ADP customer service is also a good resource to teach you all about the functionality....it was very intuitive and easy to use!
  • Staff related reports
  • Tax information
  • Salary expense summaries
  • Some improvements to interface could be done to make it easier to use
  • Better documentation showing what it can do
It's perfect for pulling tax related salary info in seconds. Sometimes figuring out different tax rates and amounts for customers can be lengthy, ADP makes this simple with this tool.

ADP ezLaborManager is being used by my department (HR) and across our company. This software has helped track our standard hours including overtime. It is a great system for tracking PTO, bereavement, sick time, and leave of absence. It's very important to our organization as most of our employees were hourly and everyone received leave benefits. This made it imperative that we had a system that was able to handle the complexity but is also very user-friendly for employees, managers, and administrators.
  • Ease of use: This system was particularly easy to use for employees, managers, and administrators. The user-friendly interface and straightforward design helped make accessing and using it that much easier.
  • Viewing: For employees clocking in the system it was easy to clock in/out and also see totals of each week worked along with totals in month/year and vacation accruals.
  • Reporting: This option for administrators was very beneficial and fairly simple to run for novice users.
  • Administrator: The ability to view all partners, edit any employee as needed and ease of making changes in a short period of time.
  • Appearance: The website visual appearance could use a more 21st-century upgrade. It seemed plain and dull but that also helped as some systems are not easy to follow if too much is going on in the web page.
ADP ezLaborManager works well when you have several computers for your employees to access. If you don't, the delay for everyone to clock in/out can get very frustrating. Making sure to have the other suites with ADP also is recommended. The system didn't seem to be down often but was fairly quick to login and navigate.

It is being used by Human Resources to help support and interface with our HRIS as well as the record of electronic time keeping for all employees and managers. Previously the agency was using paper timesheets so implementing ADP electronic timecards made the payroll process more efficient. Managers are now able to run reports too which has been useful especially with monitoring time off and benefits.
  • Employees enjoy the 24/7 access to their timecards, pay stub, annual statements, and accruals.
  • Managers now have up to date information to review attendance as often as they like.
  • Payroll has been able to eliminate many manual internal processes as a result.
  • Time off reports are easily accessible.
  • Manual calculations are eliminated thus ensuring a more accurate payroll for hours worked, overtime, and benefit usage.
  • Reporting always seems to be difficult and not as user friendly as it should be. We have had to compensate for such by providing more mgt support ourselves or create the reports ourselves.
  • There have been some internal procedures that ADP has not been able to accomodate causing us to still have some manual procedures.
  • Lack of support and communication during the implementation stage and did not meet the expectations of what our sales person promised.
  • ADP ACA product was very manual and support for it were not knowledgeable as would be expected.
  • Time off feature should provide alerts or not allow time off to go into the negatives. This is not an exception.
[ADP is well suited for] Smaller agencies with a regular payroll and not a complex payroll. Users must be familiar with databases, reporting, etc. as system is not as user friendly as we would like. The cost is also a factor especially as the basic system does not include other features such as performance management, dashboards, etc. I was hoping to have access to the dashboards. Reporting should also provide more sample reports.

We use ADP ezLabor across the whole organization.
  • It captures the exceptions, so if you want to drill down to get answers as to where and why you are getting overtime; look at the exceptions.
  • The exceptions tell you where and what employees are clocking in/out early, late or on an unscheduled shift. Which again helps drill down to see where overtime is generated.
  • It gives you the options to check time-cards on a specific date range if you need to go back into the history.
  • To cancel or delete a recurring schedule has too many steps for the managers to do so they ask me to do their updates for them.
  • Having several places to make updates is good but also can be bad. When you call ADP, everyone you talk with does things the way they were taught which in turns is you get a different answer. Then you have to remember, how did they do that again?
  • Sometimes less is more. If you update in one area, it does not cross over to another area that it may be tied to, then it's like you are doing double the work.
When used company-wide and when you have several locations that are across the US, ezLabor makes it very easy to track time card information.

We use ADP ezLabor Manager for time keeping purposes and scheduling for employees. You can put in an employee's schedule to ensure they only work what that are required to work. Also any exceptions must be approved by a supervisor. I really like the system. You can also assign pay classes so each group has it own set of rules.
  • Scheduling
  • Timekeeping
  • Classifications
  • Need to be able to view leave balances on the screen
  • View multiple employees on split screen to verify if they worked same schedule
ADP exLaborManager is well suited for any businesses that have multiple locations. IF you only have one location [I'm] not sure if it is needed.

We are not only using it for our employees to track time but for our outside staff to track our temporary staff that are being paid by agencies. The system has made the reconciliation of our outside staffing billing easier. It has helped the accounting department gather to the minute cost analysis on special projects. The reports are exportable to Excel thus the information extract is manipulated to suite our needs.
  • Reports are Excel exportable.
  • Tracks the hours for ACA.
  • The reports are a great asset in the reconciliation of our outside staffing companies.
  • The Time off Requests feature is limited, if an employee requests time in April for July, and in June the employee reports to someone new the system does not update the request to the new manager, it is still sent to old manager.
  • In the 2.0 Work Force Now, ezLaborManager allowed you to add a note to the day but in the 10.0 version you may only add a note to the time sheet not the day.
  • Reports cannot be customized to incorporate data from other areas such as payroll and HR.
The system as whole is much better than other systems out there. But to say it is the "BEST" is a contradiction. The system tracks time accurately for hourly employees but if you are needing to track time time for a different shift to pay at a different rate, the system is incapable. For example, a shift differential must be manually calculated in payroll because in ezLaborManager the time cannot be captured. To say the hours of work between 7 PM and 6 AM are at a different rate must be manually calculated and captured to pay appropriately.
