Certify is used in our organization to help manage travel expenses by employees and purchases made by the company purchasing card. It is used by the Sales Department mainly because of travel, but other departments use Certify when they purchase items with the company card. This helps keep track of every expense every employee makes and makes sure they are all accounted for.

- The merge feature for transactions and receipts doesn't always capture the right amount which can cause confusion.

I have benefited quite a bit from the Certify customer support team. They always want to make sure you get your questions answered in the most efficient and effective way possible. The onboarding support is very helpful because they give multiple options of what can fix the problem. They try their best to make sure that everything is running smooth after an error occurs.
I am very used to Certify's components. But some users that I manage still have a hard time fixing their expense reports no matter how many times I try to teach them. The Editing expense Report and Adding Expense Report option sometimes gets confusing and causes some employees to enter transactions twice. There should be a better layout to make it easier for them to edit and finish their expense reports. I try to teach Certify as much as I can, but the usability should be a bit easier so it is less confusing.
Before Certify, there was only manual expense reports entered for our company. This took too much time for employees too finish and caused a delay of efficiency. With Certify, it is easier to access and finish each report with the right amount of effectiveness and efficiency it needs. Certify is really helpful in saving a lot of time for employees that do not have time.
Certify is well suited for businesses that have a lot of employees that travel. Our business is global so there are many employees traveling from country to country to get work done. All their expenses would be hard to keep track of if we did not have Certify. It is less appropriate to have Certify if only a few employees use the company card and if the company does not do a lot of traveling.
