Overall Satisfaction with Checkout.com

We use this as a payment and credit card merchant for our website to process credit cards and payments for purchases. This allows us to process card payments and purchases on our website efficiently. It also allows us to fraud-check customers making payments to ensure that we do not receive any fraudulent charges, providing good e-commerce.

Pros

  • Fraud checking.
  • Multiple payment options.
  • Multi market and localisation for payments for customers.

Cons

  • We have had difficulty integrating our Klarna with their system.
  • The card fraudulent checks have helped reduce dropouts.
  • We must still work on it, but we believe the alternative payments will help us with other markets.
Support has been excellent. They've been very communicative and informative about plans. And we can see how we can utilise them more going forward for expansion and set a target of alternative markets, which should overall increase our sales. On the regulatory side, we get updated details about changes to regulations.
Worldpay had many internal problems before moving from them. We found their support very lacking and even on the basic level of communicating with them about simple issues. We found significant problems with continually having to be asked the same questions, but nothing was resolved. We did see a long Delay in getting anything done with Worldpay.

Overall, we've had an excellent experience with Checkout.com. The integration was very well organized and without problems. We have also found them very communicative and very supportive. Comparative to our previous card merchants and previous experiences, they have been of a very high standard and very professional. All in all, we have been very happy with their setup and support.
