Overall Satisfaction with Cisco AnyConnect

The AnyConnect application is installed on all notebooks supplied by our company, it is very reliable and easy to use. We use it whenever we are out of office and require to connect to our work network to configure different equipment or hop on multiple networks within our organisation. Authentication is challenged against active directory logins.
  • Easy to use
  • Provides a secure VPN connection to our work network
  • One-click VPN connect
  • Store login details
  • Provides VPN support for suppliers tackling different issues within their products.
  • Employees can access company resources from home.
Unfortunately, I was not involved with installation and support of the Cisco AnyConnect. But, when we requested a new login for our supplier to access the network for their equipment, it was easily supplied from the concerned team.
Clients who are currently using FortiClient noted that AnyConnect is easier to use and experienced an issue where some network resources were not accessible whilst using FortiClient intermittently. Both authenticate with Active Directory and both applications are not resource-hungry when installed on the notebooks provided by the organisation.

Do you think Cisco AnyConnect delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Cisco AnyConnect's feature set?

Yes

Did Cisco AnyConnect live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Cisco AnyConnect go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Cisco AnyConnect again?

Yes

AnyConnect is used by our organisation to connect to different networks whilst not in the office, doing so over a secured connection that is authenticated with active directory. Some of the new users are using FortiClient to connect to resources at work, and from initial feedback, it was noted that it is not as easy to use as AnyConnect.
