Cisco Headset 500 Series

Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Headsets

I'm working for virtual community engagement and mostly I have my Cisco Headsets on the entire day often stretching beyond hours too. The company I work for provided me with a Cisco Headsets, and initially, I was skeptical about the brand however I was proven wrong w.r.t my negative thoughts. The product is good, I used the 562 model and the noise cancellation is best something I really look up to while I use headsets first-handedly. Our customer service team also uses the same headsets and after hearing their experience too the mic is working perfectly, the audio is pretty clear and I believe that price point is also justified. It is directly affecting our business in positive way from product to communications to Customer service Cisco Headsets is covering us all. Also the new variants get stocked up in the inventory and customization plays a key role in the product's sustenance in our company. I believe that it is a symbiotic relationship, and till now, I don't think that the quality is compromised.
  • Noise-Cancellation
  • Comfort
  • Durability
  • Lightness
  • More work can be done to improve on audio- choppiness
  • Treble can be taken down
  • Sporty and gaming designs can be introduced for tech geeks
  • Durability and quality so less spending on replacing the product.
  • Helped me understand speakers words clearly with no voice breaks thus making me more reliable and professional, directly increasing my productivity and impacting business in a positive light.
  • Uniformity. Our organisation first pilot tested Cisco Headsets and soon we changed our other vendor because of its quality. So, now it's all Cisco.
Oh yes! It's pretty easy to set up. I mean there's nothing to do if considered the wired ones and with the wireless ones there's nothing but a simple bluetooth pairing method, which I don't think is some rocket science. Pretty simple and basic pairing and there are not many glitches as with some headsets its pairing mode is good. I have used both wired and wireless and both are very simple to set up, a child can do it as well!
Undisputedly, my voice clarity has played a vital role in engaging people with my end to end conversations and it has directly affected the business since, I have a talk time of over 3 hours/day. I have to make sure to make a call as long as I can and here Cisco Headsets is helping me quite well. Primarily it is the stable connection and secondarily it's all about the quality of Cisco Headsets and I have to say Cisco does stand up to its name.
I haven't personally used the app that much. However, I believe that it is a good step a step towards progression and with an app to adjust settings I think that it shows the excellence in providing services from Cisco's end. Yes, it must be benefitting the company since it must be providing hands at service and technical and gestural controls at ease which will make a user have more at the same place and this is all because of Cisco's environment.
I usually use community apps and websites. I operate multiple channels and audio rooms and that's where Cisco Headsets helps me out w.r.t the hardware part. My audio-rooms have become more engaging and my webinars are clear when I pre-record them. Even when live, everything seems to work fine. Earlier I was using another vendor's headsets but I had problem with the mic however with Cisco Headsets, my modulation part is going on quite well and I think that I'll also give a positive review about the product in my IT teams internal survey.

Do you think Cisco Headsets delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Cisco Headsets's feature set?

Yes

Did Cisco Headsets live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Cisco Headsets go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Cisco Headsets again?

Yes

For day to day work and official virtual meetings/calls the headsets are best suited. They are compact, handy, lightweight with a dynamic mic and good control. However, I don't think that for intense audio recording and voice modulations I'll rely on the products because the market is so diversified and on branding part there are so many options available which directly affects Cisco's market. So, for busy jam packed with work office day if you need good comfortable experience Cisco Headsets come very handy.

Cisco Hybrid Work

  • Working from anywhere (e.g., coffee shop, airport)
Since COVID-19. I'm working in Hybrid mode only and I often travel so I carry my backpack with me all the times and one of the most important gadget in my bag would be Cisco Headsets. I have used it anywhere and everywhere and have to say that it's very handy. Being a product that is easy to be carried and packed for my hybrid solution, I rate it 5/5.
I haven't faced any organizational challenges in Hybrid mode. For me, hybrid mode is working quite fine, and I like working in this model personally. In the beginning, it was a bit hard to transition since it segregated the organisational cross functional communication however within no time I got used to it so did my peers. If we are working from home or from the airport Cisco Headsets becomes our tongue and our ears!
Internal communication was a challenge and like I said Cisco Headsets is our ears and tongue. So, while the organization shifted its modes we had to adapt too and that's where Cisco Headsets helped us to make this migration very smooth. Also, if I am working from a train station or any public place I found Cisco Headsets to be good, reduces graining and works fine. However, there's a room for improvement but overall me and my organisations problems have been solved manifold.
We found out that the hybrid work model is very flexible. Firstly it reduces the commute timings and we don't have to spend extra bucks or energy on travel. We can work from our comfort zones, in cozy places, good cafes. The hybrid model also makes multitasking easy (If you're good with it). To all this it doesn't come as a surprise that Cisco products add up to this comfort or rather they become very important considering the model to be hybrid as all the F2F communication gets reduced so what remains is a good virtual experience.
I didn't personally buy this product. I was given this by my IT team however I found it good. I had been using one from Ibell before but the quality was very low, the audio was full of graining and with time the mic quality was also degrading so I had to ask for a new one luckily I got a Cisco Headsets and yes I can say that it is working quite fine. Far better than the one I had before. Also since I work in a hybrid mode I don't need to go and get my headsets checked from IT every now and then. It has released a burden.
