Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Jabber

A very amazing collaboration tool. It can be used to communicate via chat, as well as make calls over VOIP using [Cisco] Jabber when integrated with Cisco call manager or the equivalent. The chat transcripts can also be saved. [Cisco] Jabber being available on the mobile app is a big plus as well. We have been using it for collaboration, and it has solved our work from home and collaborative situations many a time.
  • Send and receive chat messages over mobile app and workstation.
  • Can be synced with active directory and it is easy to look up phone numbers.
  • Sometimes the quality of the call goes bad despite high speed internet.
  • Employer can have employees work remotely saving revenue.
Cisco products have always been exemplary, and the customer support definitely stacks up against the competition. However, where quality is not compromised, the product comes at a higher price. [Cisco] Jabber integration with video conference room may not be the same as Microsoft Teams room setups, but Cisco's collaboration and telepresence also is a better choice.

[Cisco] Jabber works well in a work and collaborative environment. It may not be suitable for home use purposes, as the licensing of the product is a bit on the higher side, not suitable for home use. It needs to be integrated with a voice to be able to fully utilize its potential.
