Cisco Meraki MR has become our enterprise WiFi infrastructure solution. It really helps us to reduce Opex budget with its cloud-managed scenario. It is so easy to deploy that you only need an internet connection and everything is up and running in almost 10 minutes; [it] literally is a no-brainer solution with all the enterprise features included.

Because of its robustness and ease of integration with the Cisco portfolio and also because [it has the] possibility to integrate the whole Meraki solutions portfolio. The security gear is easy-to-use and easy-to-implement. It gives you the possibility to have an enterprise network architecture including wifi with hospitality features, security, reporting, and video surveillance without the usual complexity.

Using Cisco Meraki MR
1050 - Captive Portal for providing internet to visitors also as our main source for wifi direct marketing, with its native interface as a feeder to main Social Networks arround there. Also works as a traffic shaping appliance and as a basic NAC platform to control which people can connect to our enterprise network.
10 - We have a high IT staff vs total employees ratio, almost 100 per each staff member, that's why we prefer IaaS and cloud based and controlled platforms over on-prem solution. That was one of our main criteria to choose Cisco Meraki MR solution instead a Cisco on-prem scenario. Also to improve our network visibility that provides a lot of tools an information to our small IT staff.

Evaluating Meraki MR and Competitors
Yes - It replaces our old Cisco Aironet network cause the IaaS scenario and the easy and fast deployment, also cause the reduced oppex budget. The last selection criteria was the integrated portal to manage WiFi, Switch, Security, NAC, and Captive Portal to manage WiFi engagement for customer and internal users all this features in one and only platform

We needed almost 5 different providers and consultants to have up and running our Network (WiFi, Switch, VPN, NAC, etc), IP Surveillance service and IOT platform. With Meraki this was acomplished and consolidated in one and only platform on almost 5 days that was 10x times faster than our normal deployment scenarios.
We use to begin with industry leades recomendations like IDC, Forrester and Gartner, always selecting two or three leaders in every category and we try to retrieve deployment and support users and client's experiences that can help us to avoid issues and repplicate good practices and at last but not at least the best cost vs benefit ratio.
