Cisco Umbrella review
Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Umbrella
Protect the enterprise from security threats using DNS based security. Grant access to the internet resources based on the identity of the user. We use Active Directory based identities coupled with Cisco Umbrella connector to match a user to the originating IP address. Umbrella also protects us from known malware and viruses.
Most common risks are mitigated at the DNS level.

- Get more confident that the internal network is protected.
- Cisco Secure Access by Duo
There were no organizational challenges when implementing the hybrid work.
We were prepared for hybrid work for many years. VPN services were used since 2004. DNS protection was introduced in 2015. The main benefit was that the users were protected no matter the location used for work. Integration with Active directory allows for a more granular protection based on the job requirements.

I do not understand the question. Possibly needs rewording.
Provide second factor authentication for accessing the corporate resources.
Better integration with other Cisco portfolio of products.
We have an enterprise subscription and Cisco Umbrella dns was already included as part of the offering.
Also we are looking into integration with sd-wan in sites where it is hard to provide full spectrum of services that are available in bigger sites with a lot of server infrastructure.

- Other
Cisco Umbrella is easily integrated with other products in Cisco security portfolio. It can also be integrated with on premise Active Directory for a more granular control of access to DNS based resources.
Allows for deployment of serverless infrastructure coupled with Cisco SDWAN and eliminates the need to deploy dedicated servers to host DNS service.
