Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

We use Webex among other meeting software in most departments as some attendees are blocked by other meets. It helps especially in a COVID world where meetings are all virtual and not in person. It also helps us share documents to review in real-time while on the call since we can't be there face-to-face.

Pros

  • Screen share capability is excellent.
  • Connection is mostly clear with few glitches.

Cons

  • I sometimes see challenges with the waiting room or conference IDs changed but that could be more user error than the software.
  • Having it as an option makes sure we can meet with clients that may not be able to use other meets.
  • Great way to call a quick meeting or run an incident channel for up to the minute updates.
Our most used meet is Google which is pretty simple to set up and use. Zoom was deemed a security risk and is no longer used by us. Cisco comes in handy and has been just as reliable as Google.

I have not experienced any outages in the years I have been using Webex.
Pretty simple to scale if needed. Never had any issues.
There have been instances where our VPN interfered with Webex but again it could have been an error on our side. Aside from that it can be resource intense on older machines.
When you have a company with team members across the globe this is a great way to keep everybody connected and it gives you the ability to have meetings as if you were all in the same room to collaborate. Everybody us able to ensure they are on the same page no matter where they are.
