Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

We frequently used Skype but had many issues and difficulties arise, we decided as a company to take larger meetings to use Cisco Webex and it has been a great experience. Very smooth and no downtime.

Pros

  • Ease of calendar invite and organization.
  • Groups of large people, streams flawlessly.
  • Easy to share presentations and transfer control of screen.

Cons

  • The GUI is minimal, could be expanded a little bit.
  • Sharing presentations and whiteboards.
  • Hosting Q&A sessions, chat and video conference.
Skype was limited to authenticated users, it was difficult to add non-corporate users in different networks - using Cisco Webex eliminates that issue.

We have had no downtime whereas we had frequent issues with Skype servers, authentication issues, etc.
Webex is highly expandable and easy to deploy and add multiple users across multiple organizations to share content and collaborate.
Very good quality video, presentations and audio - everything flows smoothly in real time, it has never had lagging or freezing issues for us.
Cisco Webex is great for larger organizations that has meetings or presentations across either a LAN or WAN. It is not limited to only people within the organization as our previous vendor Skype.
