Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Room Series

Great devices for a more inclusive way to collaborate with the hybrid workplace. The quad-camera is doing an incredible job by focusing automatically on the active speaker in the room. The quality of the soundbar is also great for good sound in the room. The macro integration allows all kinds of integrations. Really the best in class devices on the market.

  • Proximity is limited; we would like to see Miracast.

Cisco Webex Room Series offers a great integration of the different Webex solutions together. For instance, starting a Cisco meeting on a Webex Room Devices directly from the Cisco Webex App, sharing content from the Webex App wirelessly with Cisco Proximity. In addition, a Webex Board can be used to do whiteboard sessions with people remotely.
I haven't used the Support Team much so far but for a small issue and they were a great help.
  • RoomOS is very well thought out and minimal without complexity for the end-users. It is self-explanatory for most of the features.
  • The Room Kits are very well-designed products with built-in microphones, speakers, and one or multiple cameras.
  • The integration with Webex App is great and easy to use.
  • The macro allows us to do more A/V integration easily.

Cisco Webex Room Devices are obviously working the best with Cisco Webex Meetings. Now, with Microsoft Teams Meetings and the CVI provided by Cisco Webex, the interoperability is working fine in most scenarios. Now, if the device is intended to join any type of meeting solution (Zoom, Pexip, Lifesize, etc.), then it is less appropriate than the one with USB (Desk & Room Kit Mini).
