Overall Satisfaction with Cision PR Software
Currently, we use it for web tracking of hot-button issues that reach beyond our current social media and email training. We need to know threats to our organization and rely heavily on Cision to warn us instantly of any issues involving our top membership figures or our field in general.
- Instant alerts on notable issues.
- Self-tracking data for easy presentation.
- Does not simply re-use existing social media data as other platforms try.
- Interface needs better design, [it's] not intuitive.
- Does not have an accessible dashboard, just raw data.
- Does not integrate with some social media platforms, requiring separate search software.
- Stable.
- Some gains in avoiding major incidents.
- No major change.
We attempted to use Hootsuite on a trial basis, but we found it was not as thorough as the older Cision software and thus traded a smoother interface for better efficiency. We'd ideally like a middle ground, but the power Cision has behind its capabilities won out against the easier to use software.
