Overall Satisfaction with CodeTwo Backup for Office 365
We are using it mainly for list and library migration from one site to another. It is almost impossible to move large lists with attachments with just Microsoft tools, including PowerShell. SharePoint sites were not configured correctly the first time, and many lists and libraries had to be migrated. CodeTwo licenses per user, so site migration is a good use case - you can remove most users rights to the site before taking the backup.
- Back up SharePoint online
- Restore SharePoint online
- Lists with attachments
- Will create new list from backup
- Can combine two lists into one
- None offhand
- This is really a solid product
- Migrate lists and libraries
- Migrate lists with attachments
- Great ROI - only needed 10 licenses to do migrations
- No negative impact
- ShareGate and AvePoint SharePoint & Microsoft 365 Migration
CodeTwo is kind of an entry-level product, and that's all we needed. The other available solutions were really overkill; they have features we didn't need and the price tag to support those features.
