Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense

Concur is being used across the bank so that people can track and report their expenses. It's linked to our corporate credit card, so expenses appear directly in the Concur website.
  • It's linked to our corporate credit card, so expenses appear in the website.
  • Employees receive email notifications when an expense appears in Concur with a direct link to the tool.
  • It's easy to upload receipts.
  • The website interface is outdated and clunky.
  • This tool is not intuitive. When I select an expense to add details to, it appears in 2 places - and there's no explanation of why - or how to have it appear only once.
  • Time saved creating employee expense reports.
From the employee perspective, Chrome River is a far superior product. It's modern-looking, easy to use, and so intuitive you almost don't need the contextual help.
Concur does a decent job of helping us keep track of employee expenses.
The workflows seem to work well: Once I submit an expense, it automatically notifies my manager. And once she approves it, it automatically notifies the appropriate finance person.
I appreciate that Concur is linked to our corporate credit card. And when an expense hits, I receive an email notification with a direct link to the Concur website.

And I like that I can add and upload receipts - either by using my drop-down arrow or by dragging and dropping the receipt. Having said that, I wish that I didn't have to select the receipt and then also click upload. Once I've selected the receipt, it would be nice if it automatically uploaded.
