Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
I use ConnectWise Control's Remote Agent to manage 70 workstations across our four warehouses in Canada. This allows me to troubleshoot problems faster and feels as if I was physically there.
- Unlimited amount of Remote Agents installed.
- Web-based Command Prompt
- Can control Windows workstations from my Linux laptop
- Sometimes the Java launcher does not work in Linux and I have to run it multiple times. This could also be an error with my Java installation instead.
- As the IT manager this tool saves time by allowing me remotely to fully control my workstations across our four buildings.
I have used TeamViewer and did not like it. There were only annual options and I was unable to purchase a monthly license which is often required for dynamic environments. I like ConnectWise as there appears to be no limit to the number of remote agents I can deploy for the same fixed monthly fee.
