Overall Satisfaction with Constant Contact
Constant Contact is used to email a number of different constituencies, both internal and external, at our organization. It is used by the entire organization and across many departments. For us, it can be used for Marketing, Fundraising, Membership, and communicating with other interested parties. Constant Contact is our only email marketing tool.
Pros
- Easily email to different groups
- Strong data management
- Pretty straight forward user interface
Cons
- Some spacing issues on actual emails compared to on the preview screens
- Runs slow compared to other services I've used for this
- Not always as intuitive as it comes across from the beginning
- Easy to communicate to many groups
- Easy for lots of people to edit and send emails
- Great ability to see who opens, reads, clicks, etc.

I have used both Emma and Constant Contact. I prefer Constant Contact as it seems to just run smoother from data management to content creation and understanding results. I was not involved in the selection of Constant Contact for my organization but would gladly recommend it to others. Overall, it's worked out well for me individually and for our organization.
