Contractor Foreman is a good fit for construction
Overall Satisfaction with Contractor Foreman
We used Contractor Foreman to organize our day-to-day needs as a construction company, mostly for Purchase Orders, Estimates, Change Orders, RFIs, and Work Orders. Contractor Foreman keeps all our necessary information in one place and is mostly user-friendly. It also allows us to itemize material purchased with their Cost Database function.
Pros
- User-friendly functionality.
- Customer Support is quick and helpful.
- Allows for suggestions to be submitted.
Cons
- Submittal function doesn't allow you to pick items from Cost Database.
- No option for program to automatically populate a Expiration Date on Estimates when they are created.
- Changing status of a item can cause errors.
- If an approved estimate is adjusted, the pricing on any Change Order does not update.
- Positive impact in terms of accessibility and organization.
- Sometimes you want to do something the program won't allow.
Personally, this is the only program of its kind that I have used.
