Overall Satisfaction with Copper

I use Copper to primarily organize prospects, pipelines and send contracts. They have integrations with Portant which makes it very easy to save and send out contracts, agreements and more.

Pros

  • Integrations are great
  • Adding contact forms to my website
  • Being able to link with Google and have it as a side bar

Cons

  • I am not a fan of the feed section at all. It is too email focused, I wish it were more customizable. If I could make a main page I would want to see pipeline preview, tasks, and projects.
  • I would love a more detailed projects section. Pipelines are great, but having projects where I can save more information or share with a client would be nice.
  • Smoothed out my workflow
I wish the feed was more customizable. For me, the current feed area is useless. I wish there was a customizable dashboard or something. I already use Gmail so going into the feed to see my emails doesn't do me much good. The "Keep things moving" section, even when I X things out since they mostly don't matter they keep popping up. I also wish there were a projects section not just pipelines.

I think it is great for small business who doesn't need all the bells and whistles some CRMs provide that make it overwhelming. I love that it integrates with Google, making it easier to use regularly. I did have integration issues with Portant for a while which was a problem since I could send contracts and had to find a new way temporarily. I also currently can not log in via Google Chrome or on Gmail and I have a support ticket for that. So there are sometimes issues.
