Overall Satisfaction with Cvent Event Management

Our entire meeting and event department uses Cvent (approximately 30 planners) as well as some occasional planners. We use it for everything event-related. We use the registration software, the RPF tool, the supplier network, Kapow (for unique ideas), and CrowdCompass. It's great to have so many tools in the same place.

Pros

  • Registration sites.
  • Attendee emails.
  • Waitlist feature.

Cons

  • Not everything is available on Flex yet.
  • We still have internal issues with some of the flight booking tools.
  • I wish some things were a little easier to navigate.
  • It has streamlined a lot of our processes.
  • It's a tool that procurement uses to leverage vendors.
I use the chat feature all the time if I can't figure out the best way to do something. They are quick to respond and will walk you through all the steps. they make sure you have a good understanding of the feature. If you need more complex help, having agents on call is also a great feature to walk you through larger edits to the registration website or overall functionality.

I think it is great for event planners for the full event experience. I think for more simple events and data gathering we may use another tool.
