Overall Satisfaction with Cvent Event Management

Cvent is used by our operations department to help meet client goals and get events online and open in a short time frame.
  • It manages international data well.
  • It is easy to use.
  • The accounting is simplified.
  • The Exhibitor Portal is new and has a ways to go in ease of use.
  • On arrival is great for certain events, but is lacking some advanced features.
  • More conditional logic throughout the tool.
  • Allows time to market to be faster.
  • On arrival has a positive impact with onsite perceptions.
I am used to using a very custom platform and Cvent allows us to open faster than that product and there are some built in features to Cvent that make ease of use better.
I am grateful to have a strong contract with Cvent and a good client success manager, however before that contract was signed getting support was difficult and getting the help desk to understand what the issues are is difficult. I have to escalate most items to my Cvent manager. A lot of the responses are not actual responses that help explain what happened.

Cvent is well suited for a lot of events with straightforward business logic and is growing constantly to be able to handle more complex trade shows and events. It is great if you are managing multiple facets of an event from air travel, to hotels, registration and budgets. It also has great reporting and ability to communicate with your audience.
