Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use D&B Finance Analytics to gather information to verify identity of companies and get their DUNS number. In our industry we need to have a complete and accurate way to identify the customer that is available to others as well so we ensure the intended recipient of services is in fact the company that receives those services. D&B Finance Analytics is the perfect way to do this since they are great about maintaining the information and providing many ways to confirm the correct customer's DUN's is being used. It is absolutely vital to what we do.

Finance Analytics Performance

I am not involved in risk analysis for my organization, but I know from previous roles it is helpful to use many tools when evaluating customers. Having different tools provided by one provider is helpful in streaming the evaluation process. I also feel like information gathered from D&B Finance Analytics can be trusted and is accurate.

Implementation and Deployment

I don't use the credit information in my job function, but I know that our Credit Department uses D&B Finance Analytics in their evaluation process. They are able to provide quick feedback on the creditworthiness of a customer and I know the D&B Finance Analytics plays a role in allowing that prompt response.

Alternatives Considered

I don't currently and have not in the past used any other similar products. D&B Finance Analytics is the standard used in my industry and since it is used in my role for verification of information it is important I use the same provider as others. I have been pleased with my experience with D&B Finance Analytics and am happy this is what is used.

Support Rating

I had difficulty singing in and their support was very helpful and pleasant. Our company changed our email addresses and customer support was able to help me navigate that change and get things re-established with the new email. It was nice to be able to call and talk to a real person who was able to work with me to find a solution.

D&B Finance Analytics works very well to verify information and provide the DUNS number. Since this is a vital piece of information needed to ensure the correct customer is receiving services from other customers it is important we can get this accurately and quickly. It is also helpful to see exactly how the legal name is listed so when we contract we can ensure it is correct on our documents as well.
