I typically use it to get a background on a company or to look at how many branches of the company there are in a particular jurisdiction.
- public records for U.S. corporations
- contact information and headquarters are usually accurate
- UCC filings
- financial risk needs to be updated on the majority of the companies
- the information is often times outdated
- rating outlook is often blank on the reports looked at
- I'm not involved in the financial aspects of assessing the costs of databases we use.
We use it to assess other companies.
I don't use it for that reason.
