Overall Satisfaction with Dataloader.io

We use it for data upload and update the data. So most likely we are just updating the data and using dataloader.

Pros

  • It upload the data really fast. It's very helpful. We don't have to manage a lot of stuff, so all we have to create everything in Excel sheet and then submit it and then upload it so it's easy to map, easy to work. The only feedback I can give, if they can do the duplication check, that will be great. Otherwise, it's work very fast.

Cons

  • Duplication checks. So Salesforce do have it, but they have a limitation of 50,000 records, but dataloader do not have it. They have that, but it's very far. So if they can do the duplicate thing, it will be great.
  • Fast and easy
  • Not much training required
  • Easy to teach other employees
  • Positive: easy to use, fast update, and everything like that.
  • Negative: it doesn't catch duplicate, so we have to do it again sometimes.
Because it's only used by engineers who knows what to do. It's not very friendly for non-technical people.

I think it's more likely to upload data, update and upload data. Let's say that we have a bunch of police officers, they take one courses like courts 101 and we have like 500 officers who take it. So we can just put that thing in a dataloader and upload it and it just update the whole system. So it is very helpful.
