Overall Satisfaction with Diligent Boards

We use Diligent Boards to disseminate Board and Committee packages, voting outside of meetings, providing information to Board members securely, as well as for certain questionnaires.

Pros

  • Keep information confidential
  • Instantaneous updating of information
  • Worldwide access 24x 7

Cons

  • Improvements in Minutes feature
  • Action Items assignment and updates
  • Confidentiality
  • Security
  • Uptime
  • Ease of dissmeniation and administration of packages (errors can be easily corrected)
  • Directors can read packages from anywhere in the world at any time. It makes prep for Dircetors a lot easier
  • Keeping records of meetings, doing searches for information has become easier and less time consuming
They are generally always responsive and can resolve any queries in a very short time frame. No real complaints.
Very impactful. Only concern, and I'm not sure if it still and issue but we have disabled print site wide. However, in Secure File a user could still print by using the Ctrl + P windows feature. Not sure if that was solved....

Smaller companies may struggle to justify the cost of using the software. A software product solution for smaller companies may be a market that is not tapped into as yet.
