Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
It was being used as a shared folder for work documents.
- Host files digitally or virtually
- Allows you to grant user access with limited or unlimited permissions.
- Allows you to share a link with new users to enable access
- Being able to access Dropbox content from any device through the app
- I spend a little time on lost data
- Every time I would save a file it would create multiple copies which caused confusion.
- Access never expires so too many people would have access to files when it wasn’t needed
- Positive is that it’s a cheap way of getting access to shared storage and it’s neutral between multiple companies.
- Negative would be that it is not private, and file exposure
- Positive would be that you could save multiple files for free
- OneDrive and Apple iCloud
Dropbox is free and is better to be used on a desktop. OneDrive is also free and it’s better for use on a smartphone. But you can use both on either desktop or smartphone
