Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
We use Dropbox for file story and also automation in saving files.
Pros
- Syncing with zoom
- sharing files with others
- Easy to use
Cons
- Requiring others to use their own storage space with Dropbox when sharing files isn't fair. This limits sharing the files
- Adding users to the business account can be costly if they aren't a full time team member
- Handling of Google docs files isn't ideal - If there was a way to make this easier to use would be great
- We no longer have to have a separate transcription service! saves us $30/mo
- This saves us a lot of time. Even though the cost is higher than we want to pay, the time savings is important
- Its not ideal that there aren't thumbnails or previews on my mac os when syncing with cloud only storage
Dropbox has certain syncing built in like zoom. this was a major reason why we switched
