Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Dropbox to have case files available via cloud storage. It really helps to have files available for all of our employees 24/7 with an internet connection. Even without an internet connection, we can work on drafting legal documents and have it sync with our shared drive in almost an instant. This has been a must for our law practice and continues to be a big reliance for our work.

Need for customer support (monthly checks w/ users via email)
Less extra features (overwhelming versus simplicity)
Improvement with migration of older files (causes errors and I cannot access the document anymore)

Dropbox is perfect to use as an employee who works remotely. There is no need to travel to the main office to access the shared drive because Dropbox becomes the shared drive for all of our employees. Whenever I expect to work on certain files outside of an Internet connection, I can simply utilize the offline feature and have Dropbox sync it later when I do have an Internet connection so all of my coworkers can see what I have done.

Dropbox is the future in collaboration and cloud storage!
