Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
The Design Lead and all the Design team members use Dropbox to store various design files. Dropbox is convenient and easy to use. If a new member joins in, he simply needs to download and install the desktop app and have access to all the files, once the files are synced. If one can't find a file in the folders, we simply share the dropbox link over a message with each other. Dropbox was overall good to use except one feature that I suggested in my last interview call with Dropbox Team, back in September. I had discussed with them how it causes issues if someone's on the file making edits or has opened the file, so that as a designer the double work can be prevented. But now I see that it been taken care of. Helpful features like Activity, Version history, Lock editing have been added. Thanks a ton for the Lock editing feature, it's definitely going to help us designers and improve our experience with Dropbox. Keep up the good work Dropbox Team!
