Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
We are a fully remote team in a several countries, including contractors, and all accessing the same files. We use Dropbox as our only file hosting service.
Pros
- Allows us to find document history and restore edits
- Access the same documents
- See who is making edits
Cons
- I don't like that Dropbox automatically creates a new version for the same file if I have it open and someone else does, it would be great if it could ask if you want to do that, or if the alert was more noticeable so I can close out if someone opens.
- Huge positive impact! Being able to restore deleted documents, find versions, etc.
