Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
We use Dropbox to share folders with potential buyers. In commercial real estate, there is due diligence that we must share with them. We use Dropbox to share these important documents with them. We love that we can create links with different permissions as we would not want certain people accessing the folders to alter any documents. That is a great feature to use.
Pros
- Clean interface / organized
- Different link permissions (view only, etc.)
- Allows different file types & formats
- Security upon sign in
Cons
- Finding folders on the page when you have many of them created
- You do control + F but sometimes it is still cumbersome
- Sometimes there are issues where "you don't have permission" to share certain files (even if you are the creator of the folder)
- Great effect on ROI
- If we could not share our files with potential buyers in an easy manner, our revenue would suffer significantly
- Not to mention the time it saves having this software in place
- This allows our brokers to spend less time on admin tasks & more on sourcing business
They are very comparable - I don't see a large difference between the two platforms. Maybe there are features on each that I am not aware of. I know Dropbox sends articles on what is new and what it has to offer so I would say that is a strength that Dropbox has over Google.
