Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox
We use it to sync content to our main server for all freelancers who work with us. It can also sync image sequences of up to 5TB and massive video files.
Pros
- User management.
- Integration with 3rd party apps.
- Easy to navigate.
Cons
- Slows down a lot when syncing many small files.
- When sharing folders of 5 TB or larger, it takes a long time, and the folder disappears from Dropbox for a while, which causes everything to unsync from our server until it completes sharing.
- It's help us get through a lot of pain the pain cause by the pandemic.
- It helps us sync everything that all of our external freelancers do.
Lucid Link is way better for huge files and also for millions of small files. But Lucid doesn't have as many useful features as Dropbox does. Honestly, we would switch to Lucid if it wasn't so expensive.
