Overall Satisfaction with Dropbox for Business

Dropbox was used by teams to share files. We are a virtual company so it helped us reduce emails and keep things centrally located.
  • Dropbox is easy to use.
  • It is widely used, most of our users already used it and needed only minimal training.
  • This is not unique to DropBox but all file sharing apps. I think that they should team up more and allow sharing between different systems on the web.
  • This is difficult for us to gage since we are virtual. It's definitely positive to be able to access files.
  • I guess the best thing it does is save us time.
Cubby, Box.com, OneDrive - honestly they are all extremely similar. Dropbox is likely the most widely used by folks and probably needs the least introductions. It helps that it has a lot of third-party integrations. Some of the other services do not do integrations as well or as much which can make mobile work a bit more difficult.
It comes down to price for most small businesses. Be sure you are comfortable with the costs. The features are easy to use but if you have servers and plenty of storage in your office you probably don't need it. There are ways to make your files accessible without an online service.
